Whenever I accept seen SD video on a blu-ray it looks strangely worse than a DVD upscaled by my histrion. I am mostly thinking of stuff like the Star Expedition DS9 episode on the original series season 2, or the Blade Runner documentary on the re-release where they moved it to exercise a DVD. They look worse somehow, lots of aliasing. Not sure if that's an issue with doing what yous talk near or but poor encoding, merely it scares me off the thought either way.

I DO have the UK Series one-four of Medico Who on BD, which put the SD only bear witness upscales correct on the disc at 1080p. That looks pretty skillful, all things considered, but at that place are still only 4-5 episodes a disc because they encoded at 1080p and with a loftier bitrate. I think near consumers would expect that from an SD prove, allow alone a testify that could theoretically be remastered in Hard disk similar Star Trek DS9.
